At The Regional Tribune (TRT), we are committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. We expect all parties involved in the publication process, including authors, editors, and reviewers, to adhere to the following ethical principles:

1. Authorship and Originality:
   1. Authors must ensure that their manuscript represents original work, and any borrowed content is appropriately cited and acknowledged.
   2. All individuals who have made significant contributions to the research should be listed as authors. Conversely, individuals who have not contributed substantially should not be listed as authors.
2. Plagiarism and Duplicate Submission:
   1. Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable. Authors should ensure that their work is entirely original and properly cited. TRT employs plagiarism detection tools to screen submitted manuscripts.
   2. Authors should not submit manuscripts simultaneously to multiple journals or submit previously published work as original research.
3. Data Integrity and Accuracy:
   1. Authors are responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the data presented in their manuscript. Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data is strictly prohibited.
   2. Authors should provide sufficient detail and documentation to enable others to replicate the research if deemed necessary.
4. Conflicts of Interest:
   1. Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the interpretation of their research findings or the impartiality of the publication process.
   2. Conflicts of interest may include financial relationships, personal affiliations, or competing interests related to the research.
5. Peer Review Process:
   1. TRT employs a rigorous peer review process to ensure the quality and validity of published research. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and impartiality.
   2. Reviewers should provide constructive feedback and evaluate manuscripts objectively, without bias or personal prejudice.
6. Editorial Independence and Transparency:
   1. Editors and editorial staff should make decisions based solely on the merit of the manuscript and its relevance to the journal’s scope. Editorial decisions should not be influenced by factors such as the author’s reputation or institutional affiliation.
   2. Editorial processes, including peer review procedures and editorial decisions, should be transparent and clearly communicated to authors and reviewers.
7. Corrections and Retractions:
   1. TRT is committed to correcting errors or inaccuracies promptly if they are identified in published articles. Authors should notify the editorial office if corrections are necessary.
   2. In cases of serious ethical misconduct or irreproducible research, TRT reserves the right to retract published articles.
8. Compliance with Ethical Standards:
   1. Authors conducting research involving human subjects, animals, or sensitive data must comply with relevant ethical guidelines and obtain necessary approvals from institutional review boards or ethics committees.
   2. Authors should provide appropriate acknowledgments of funding sources and grant numbers, if applicable.
9. Adherence to Journal Policies:
   1. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to familiarize themselves with TRT’s policies and guidelines and comply with them throughout the publication process.

Violation of these publication ethics may result in actions such as rejection of the manuscript, retraction of published articles, or suspension of editorial privileges. TRT is committed to promoting integrity, transparency, and accountability in scholarly publishing.
